Earlier this year, Chevrolet introduced us to the first ever Silverado ZR2 Bison. This rugged off-road-ready truck was designed in partnership with American Expedition Vehicles. It offers impressive capabilities and plenty of power. It will be coming to College Chevrolet Buick in early 2023. Call us today and we’ll help you reserve your Silverado ZR2 Bison.
Here are some of the features we are looking forward to the most on this remarkable truck.
The Silverado ZR2 Bison comes standard with a 6.2-liter V8 engine rated at 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. Later in the model year, it will be available with an improved version of the 3.0-liter Duramax® diesel. It will offer an output of 305 horsepower and 495 lb-ft of torque.
With the help of AEV, the Silverado ZR2 Bison is ready to tackle the toughest terrain. It comes standard with features like:
- Steel rocker panel protection
- Three-piece steel front bumper with black vertical front tow hooks
- Five hot-stamped boron steel skid plates
- A winch-compatible front bumper
Improved approach and departure angles
To make the Silverado ZR2 Bison even more capable, it offers improved stats over the Silverado ZR2. The front approach angle has been increased to 32.5 degrees, while the departure angle has improved to 23.4 degrees. Both trucks offer ground clearance of 11.2 inches.
