At College Chevrolet Buick, we’re proud of our team! We’d like to take a few minutes to put Thomas Swope an 8-year dealership veteran in the spotlight.
Thomas started with us right after he graduated from Grand Valley State University (Go Lakers!). He served as our Internet Sales Manager for 7 years prior to becoming our Pre-Owned Sales Manager.
When not at work, Thomas enjoys spending time with his family and especially enjoys bonding with his 6-month old son! He also enjoys Snowmobiling, which makes the long Michigan winters much more enjoyable.
Thomas grew up in the Albion area. He graduated from Albion High School and is proud to be a part of the College Chevrolet Buick family. Currently, Thomas drives a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado pickup.
If you’re in the market for a used car, we urge you to stop by College Chevrolet Buick to meet Thomas Swope and the rest of the pre-owned team. Thomas would be happy to help you find the perfect car for the perfect price!
Buick showed off a new concept at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit that had us craving for a new sports coupe. Titled the Buick Avista concept, it borrows many of its looks from the award-winning Avenir concept, which debuted last year at the same event.
The front end features the prominent grille and wings that stretch away from the colored tri-shield logo. In addition to the flashy, aggressive headlights, these are all design cues we should expect on future Buick models at College Chevrolet Buick.
Under the hood is a twin-turbocharged V6 engine producing an impressive 400 horsepower—all sent to the rear wheels for maximum enjoyment. It reminds us of Buick’s racing heritage and hints at future performance models—at least, so we hope.
“The Avista embodies the dynamic soul of Buick,” said Duncan Aldred, vice president of global Buick sales, service, and marketing. “It is a modern expression of the brand’s heritage of sophisticated performance, communicated with beautiful elegance.”
