National Car Care Month–every April–may be coming to an end, but that’s no reason to stop spending extra careful attention to the care and maintenance of your vehicle. Keep your car in top-notch condition all season long with these spring car care tips from College Chevrolet Buick.
- If you haven’t been to the auto shop for a solid check-up lately, be sure to do so. Especially after the harsh winter months, your car can always benefit from a tune-up.
- Be sure your tires have enough tread and are inflated to the right level. If your tires are worn down, you are putting yourself at risk of hydroplaning.
- We’ve all heard the term “spring cleaning.” Why not use the beautiful weather as an excuse to give your car a thorough cleaning, on the inside and the out?
- Check all of your car’s fluids, such as the engine oil and windshield wiper fluid. You won’t want to wait to find out until it’s too late.

All of us at College Chevrolet Buick would like to welcome Brian Eberhard, our new Body Shop Manager, to our team! Brian brings tons of experience to the position, having worked in parts departments and body shops for over two decades.
Before working at College, Brian worked at another Chevrolet dealership for 20 years. While there, he worked in the parts department for 18 years and then moved to the body shop as a Production Supervisor. Brian then moved to Kansas for 6 months to be with his family and took on the role of Production Supervisor at another body shop. With all of his experience, we knew he would be the perfect fit for the Body Shop Manager position here at College Chevy!
Born and raised in Battle Creek, Brian is very familiar with the Albion area. He has quickly found a place within our team, and he didn’t waste any time establishing a great rapport with his associates and making new friends.
Brian is a family man, so when he’s not hard at work, he likes to spend time with his family. He also enjoys working on various projects around the house. One of the biggest reasons we knew Brian was perfect for the job was that, just like us, he loves vehicles! His dream car is a truck—a 4×4 Chevrolet Crew Cab. He figures that it would be the ideal vehicle for doing weekend mud runs, a favorite pastime of his.
So far, Brian’s favorite part of his new job is getting to know everyone. From there, his goal is to take the body shop at College Chevrolet Buick to “the next level” and help the business grow. We are happy that Brian joined our team and look forward to his success in the future! Please join us in welcoming Brian to our team!

The car can travel up to 55 mph on all-electric power.
“Fuel efficiency is important to our customers, especially in the midsize segment and with an estimated 48 mpg city rating, the Malibu Hybrid delivers,” said president of General Motors, Dan Ammann.
The Malibu Hybrid was unveiled at the New York International Auto Show earlier this month.
Stay tuned for more information on the model as it is released. We will be sure to let you know a more specific date as to when to expect the vehicle to land in our showroom.
Chrome is back, and it has never looked so good.
The revamped 2016 Buick Enclave Tuscan Edition made its debut last week at the 2015 New York Auto Show as a “more distinctive” offering of the popular Enclave crossover boasting updated styling, superior materials, and upgraded technology.
Carried by the bronze imbued 20-inch wheels, the grille prominently sports an added chrome hue. To embellish this added shade, the crossover will come in three color offerings: White Frost Tricoat, Dark Chocolate Metallic, and Ebony Twilight Metallic.
Available only in two trims—Leather (1SL) and Premium (1SN)—standard features include a power-operated dual moon-roof, a heated steering wheel, OnStar with 4G LTE and built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, as well as a powered lift-gate and tri-zone automatic climate control. Powering the newest Enclave crossover is a 3.6-liter V6 capable of 288 horsepower mated to a six-speed automatic transmission; customers having the choice between front- or all-wheel-drive capabilities.
“Buick’s quality, refinement and style continues to attract more customers and this modern resurgence started with Enclave,” said Duncan Aldred, vice president of Buick. “It was a pioneer for three-row luxury crossovers and remains one of the segment’s most popular. The new Tuscan Edition celebrates Enclave’s achievement and rewards owners with a higher level of distinction.”
Coming to showrooms this fall, be sure to see the newest Tuscan Edition at College Chevrolet Buick and get your order in soon.
Offering parents a way to encourage their kids to drive safely, Chevrolet recently developed the Teen Driver System. This advanced program keeps track of driving habits, limits access to the radio, and much more. The Teen Driver System is aiming at making it easy for new drivers to learn how to be safe.
According to Chevy, the system will premiere in the 2016 Malibu. The Chevy Teen Driver System will mute audio from the car’s speakers, limit options if front seat occupants aren’t buckled up, and provide warnings when a vehicle is travelling faster than it should.
“We developed this system so parents could use it as a teaching tool with their kids–they can discuss and reinforce safe driving habits,” said General Motors safety engineer MaryAnn Beebe. “As a mother of two, I know anything that has the potential of keeping one’s family safer is of great value to parents.”
The new system will also allow people to see various figures on their driving habits. These include distance driven, maximum speed, and anytime a safety alert goes off, including speed limit options. This new option is perfect for any new driver, and we can’t wait to offer it at College Chevrolet Buick.
