Using the J.D. Power 2014 U.S. Customer Service Index (CSI) Study, Buick was ranked the highest among mass-market brands. This is a huge honor as this ranking was decided upon by customer satisfaction.
J.D. Power studied responses from people who have owned their Buick vehicle one to five years. The survey honed in on the following areas: service quality, service initiation, service advisor, service facility, and vehicle pick-up. Buick ranked the highest among the other brands studied.
Duncan Aldred, U.S. VP of Buick and GMC, is proud of this honor. “Our dealers have an excellent focus on putting our customers first.”

At this point, with the fourth installment of Michael Bay’s “Transformers” movie franchise set to hit theaters on June 27, the Chevrolet brand—and the iconic Chevrolet Camaro which Bumblebee transforms into—is one of the most integral parts of the franchise formula. That won’t change in the newest movie, which is subtitled “Age of Extinction.” Along with the Bumblee Camaro, “Extinction” will also feature a Corvette Stingray, a Trax, and even a Sonic Rally Car.
“The Transformers movies have been a great partnership for Chevrolet by allowing us to introduce our vehicles to new fans, young and old, around the world,” said Tim Mahoney, chief marketing officer, Global Chevrolet. “Now for the fourth time, you’ll see a Camaro as a heroic Autobot, a fitting role for one of the stars of Chevrolet’s lineup.”
Whether you like giant summer action blockbusters, goofy mythology and dialogue, tons and tons of explosions, or wicked Chevrolet vehicles involved in death-defying stunts, “Age of Extinction” has something for you. Check it out in theaters, then hurry in to get your own “Transformer” here at College Chevy. We can’t promise you that you’ll be involved in any fights involving giant robotic dinosaurs from space—but we think you’ll be having quite enough fun that you won’t really mind that, anyways.

Last week we reported that the 2014 Chevy Malibu earned high marks for safety from the IIHS, this week we are proud to say that the 2014 Chevy Equinox joined the Malibu by earning a Top Safety Pick+ rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). The Equinox is one of the only midsize SUVs to earn this distinction from the IIHS which shows Chevrolet’s commitment to safety.
The rigorous experiences that the Equinox had to endure really tested the endurance and stability of the SUV. The Equinox had to endure a frontal crash at 40mph designed to replicate crashing into a utility pole along with various other crashes. The Equinox had to receive a “Good” rating in four out of five tests and receive at least an “Acceptable” rating on the fifth test. The Equinox received “Good” ratings across the board passing the tests and receiving the top honor of Safety Pick +.
