• New for 2014: Chevrolet Camaro Convertible

GM isn’t going to wait until the American Auto Show in Los Angeles to make its newest reveal. The 2014 Chevrolet Camaro lineup will include a convertible option, which will be another reason why consumers can’t seem to get enough of this American Muscle car. Chevy is planning on making the new convertible’s reveal at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The 2014 Chevrolet Camaro model will include a slightly different look than previous versions.

Like the 2014 coupe, the convertible will have a thinner grill and headlights. It will also include a bigger air dam and hood vents. The back of the car is getting some minor changes as well. The tail lights will be reshaped and the deck will be more sculpted. The exterior isn’t the only thing getting minor updates, the interior will include the latest version of the MyLink System. The new MyLink entertainment and information system includes a 7-inch touchscreen in-dash display and also a display on the windshield.

  • 2013 Buick Encore Ranks Highest in APEAL

It is not a typo; APEAL stands for Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout, and it is an annual study conducted by the automotive research juggernaut, J.D. Power and Associates.
The APEAL Study was not coincidentally named.  It aims to see just how appealing a car is to drive, and the 2013 Buick Encore ranked highest in its segment after also recently being recognized by J.D. Power as the “Highest Ranked Sub-Compact CUV in Initial Quality.”

“Recognizing the Encore demonstrates the effort and attention to detail given by our engineers and designers,” said Tony DiSalle, vice president of Buick Marketing, in a press release. “This award reinforces our focus on putting the customer at the center of everything we do.”

J.D. Power does not hand out APEAL Awards without first doing its homework.  The APEAL Study is based on responses submitted by more than 83,000 drivers on just how gratifying their new vehicle is to own 90 days after their purchase.
