The 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 has finally arrived at College Chevrolet Buick in Albion, Michigan. We are so excited to have this significantly updated truck on our lot. The new Silverado features a rugged ZR2 trim level, upgraded technology, and improved performance.
If you want a truck that is ready to head off the pavement, consider the new ZR2 trim. It comes standard with Multimatic DSSV™ dampers, an off-road-ready chassis and suspension, 33-inch off-road tires, skid plates, and a unique steel front bumper designed to improve the truck’s approach angle.
Silverado LT and above trim levels come standard with an impressive 13.4-inch central touch screen. This screen features advanced systems like the latest Chevrolet Infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, and Google built-in services. Another technology upgrade for the Silverado is the enlarged, customizable 12.3-inch driver information center.
When you opt for the High Country trim, the 2022 Silverado is available with the advanced Super Cruise™ driver-assistance system. You can take your hands off the wheel on more than 200,000 miles of compatible highways across much of North America. This system even works while towing.
The 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 3.0-liter Duramax Turbo-Diesel engine has been rated by the EPA at 33 miles per gallon on the highway when equipped with rear-wheel drive. 4-wheel drive brings that number down to 29 mpg highway, still an amazing number for a full-size light-duty pickup truck.
Just because its fuel economy is so impressive doesn’t mean the Silverado isn’t powerful. The Duramax Turbo-Diesel puts out 277 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of toque, letting the Silverado tow up to 9,300 lbs and haul 1,870 lbs when the truck is equipped with 4WD, providing plenty of power for the vast majority of truck drivers.
Towing and hauling have never been easier than with the new Silverado, which boasts an active thermal management system, an exhaust brake for better control when going downhill, and driver-selectable start/stop technology to help you use even less fuel.
It’s been more than 20 years since Chevrolet offered a diesel engine option in a light-duty pickup truck, but as more and more drivers become conscious of fuel use, efficient engine options like diesel are becoming more sought after. Additionally, 2020 is the first year ever that Chevrolet will offer an inline-six engine in its light-duty full-size pickup line. New 2020 Chevrolet Camaro updates have been revealed, and with improved styling and a new LT1 V8 model, it promises to be one of the most exciting performance cars ever put to the road. Chevy turned to the fans and their response to the Camaro Shock show vehicle that bowed at SEMA 2018 when considering how to make the new Camaro a showstopper.
“Customers spoke, and we listened,” said Steve Majoros, director of Chevrolet passenger car and crossover marketing. “The overwhelmingly positive reaction to the Shock’s stylized design helped prompt its transition from concept to production.”
The 2020 Camaro begins with a completely fresh face. The classic bowtie emblem makes a movie to the upper grille to make room for a body-color bar between the upper and lower grille. An all-new Rally Green color offers a bold exterior option. Dark-tinted taillamps are now available on the LS and LT, while 20-inch forged aluminum wheels are available on LT, LT1 and SS trims.
It’s not just looks, though. The 2020 Chevrolet Camaro will also feature improved performance thanks to an all-new 10-speed automatic transmission. This advanced transmission is paired with the powerful 3.6-liter V6 engine. Even more power (455 horsepower) is offered on the V8 engine.
While alloy pedals were previously only available on the ZL1 model, they will now be offered across all Camaro trims. The 3LT trim will now come standard with a 2.0-liter Turbo engine as well as a Convenience and Lighting package, features which were previously only optional. RECARO® performance seats are also offered on the LT model as well as the 1LE model.

Drivers looking for a pickup are often searching for a vehicle that’s tough enough to get the job done. The Car and Driver 2017 Chevrolet Silverado Review shares that the Silverado doesn’t just offer powerful capabilities and durability. It also provides drivers with some of the best technologies and luxurious features in the automotive industry. Recently, Car and Driver published a review for the 2017 Chevrolet Silverado. During its assessment of the vehicle, they found plenty to love!
First and foremost, the Chevy Silverado is a vehicle built to test the limits. With a 420-horsepower 6.2-liter V-8 engine, the Silverado is one of the most powerful vehicles on the road today. However, power isn’t everything, and Chevrolet understands that, which is why it equipped the 2017 Chevy Silverado with an impressive collection of technologies.
Some of the amenities that Car and Driver took note of during its review were the option of Android Auto connectivity, as well as Chevrolet’s Teen Driver mode. Overall, the publication was impressed with the refinement of the Silverado.
If you too are ready to be impressed by everything that a powerful pickup can offer to you, stop by College Chevrolet Buick and discover the brand-new 2017 Chevrolet Silverado.
If you’re a fan of Chevy’s popular Equinox and Traverse SUVs, you’re in luck. Chevrolet recently unveiled several Special Edition models for the two nameplates: two for the Equinox and one for the Traverse. Known as the Chevy Equinox Midnight and Sport Editions and the Traverse Graphite Edition, these three models add cool cosmetic touches to the two different nameplates to give them an extra dose of style.
The Equinox is one of the most popular compact SUVs on the market, and the Midnight and Sport Editions are only available on its LT trim level. The Midnight Edition comes in Mosaic Black Metallic, while the Sport Edition is Summit White. Touches such as black grilles and Chevrolet logos, black 18-inch wheels, other blacked-out accents, and leather-appointed seats give both models a sleek, sporty appearance.
Meanwhile, the Traverse Graphite Edition is only available on the 2LT trim with the body color available in Mosaic Black Metallic, Tungsten Metallic, Siren Red Tintcoat, and Iridescent Pearl Tricoat. It will also receive black Chevy bowties in addition to 20-inch Dark Charcoal wheels.
The Special Edition models of the Equinox and Traverse were released to give potential buyers extra incentive to buy before both nameplates are redesigned next year for 2018. If you’re looking for an SUV with unique flair, try one of these with the Special Edition packages equipped.
In a recently-compiled list, the most American-made car was determined to be the Buick Enclave. The measure was based on the percentage of parts from each vehicle that were sourced in the United States.
Though it should be said that no American vehicles contain 100% American parts, the Buick Enclave was found to contain 80% American parts (based on the 2015 model). This is made all the more impressive by the fact that US manufacturing jobs have declined dramatically in recent years.
Of course, simply because a vehicle happens to contain the highest percentage of American parts doesn’t mean it is a popular model. However, in the case of the renowned Buick Enclave, this is actually true.
Even a cursory look at the new 2017 Buick Enclave will have anyone drawing the conclusion that the latest model will increase this crossover’s reputation with the public. The 2017 Buick Enclave features available Wi-Fi hotspot, industry-first front-center airbag, and an optional Bose 10-speaker sound system.
2016 Buick Envision reviews are in, and the new SUV is officially considered one of the hottest SUVs on the road. It offers powerful performance, flexible seating, and vast cargo space–in addition to excellent handling and fuel efficiency.
Of its many impressive qualities, the new Buick Envision is getting an enormous amount of praise for its interior, which is cozy while still remaining airy. Your entire family will fit comfortably in this stylish interior.
Given its stellar cabin design, the model is the ideal family car. In fact, the “Envision appears to be a strong candidate if you’re looking for a smaller SUV that stands out for it comfort, quiet and versatility,” according to KBB.com.
The new Buick Envision also is available in two luxurious trim levels, Premium and Premium II, adding even more premium features to the already lush vehicle. To learn more about the 2016 Buick Envision or to take one out on a test drive, visit us at College Chevrolet Buick.
Since its debut in 2013, the small crossover Encore—Buick’s most popular vehicle—hasn’t seen any major changes…until now. The many 2017 Buick Encore updates were revealed last month at the New York International Auto Show, showing off a new design and some exciting tech.
The front end has been totally redesigned to be more sculpted and refined than the previous Encore, with LED head- and taillights available. Inside, the 2017 Encore has some style updates, like the centralized dash and some cosmetic accents.
The new IntelliLink system will also be available in the new Encore, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, two new apps that allow drivers to integrate their smartphones with the IntelliLink system. The Encore comes standard with 4G LTE Wi-Fi capabilities and has convenient features like keyless entry and start.
The Encore has standard front-wheel drive with the option of upgrading to all-wheel drive, and the turbocharged 4-cylinder engine has an output of 148 horsepower at the base level. This is certainly an Encore we’re looking forward to!
The next-generation Mokka X crossover has been unveiled before its world premiere in Geneva. This lead us to believe that it may represent the new look of the best-selling Buick Encore.
Buick spokesman Stuart Fowle confirmed that the 2017 Buick Encore will be appearing at the New York Auto Show, which is only weeks after the Mokka makes its official debut.
Fowle stated that there are no additional details to be announced at this time, but that the Encore will be joining the Cascada convertible, Envision crossover, and LaCrosse sedan as vehicles being released this year.
Both media and customers alike are anxiously waiting to see the new Buick Encore. It is believed to have borrowed style from the Mokka X, but there may also be similarities between the Encore and the 2017 LaCrosse sedan.
The engine is likely to retain the 138-horsepower Ecotec 1.4-liter turbo-four, as that is what the vehicle has continually used since it first debuted.
Although the specific style and power is still unknown, we at College Chevrolet Buick know that it will be a great vehicle and are excited for the Buick Encore debut.
