When it comes to satisfying drivers, few brands have the same reputation as Chevy. Proving that point, three vehicles available at College Chevrolet Buick in Albion, Michigan, earned top segment honors in AutoPacific’s 2021 Vehicle Satisfaction Awards.
One of the newest additions to the Chevrolet lineup, the Blazer, topped the Premium Midsize Crossover SUV category — which AutoPacific noted as “a crowded one.” The Blazer earned the highest satisfaction scores in 25 of the 36 categories, with features like styling, comfort, and use of control being among the top factors.
The Chevrolet Colorado picked p the win in the Compact Pickup segment with the top satisfaction scores in 23 categories. Of the Colorado, AutoPacific says customers are satisfied with aspects like visibility, handling, power, acceleration, and being fun-to-drive.
And in a veritable landslide, the Chevrolet Camaro beat the Ford Mustang and Dodge Challenger to top take home the Vehicle Satisfaction Award for Sporty Cars. Says AutoPacific: “Things like brand reputation, interior styling, center screen size and visibility, driver’s seat adjustability, egress/ingress, overall durability/quality/reliability, standard and available safety features, plus its factory warranty, all push the Camaro to the front row ahead of the Mustang and Challenger.”
Looking for a new vehicle that’ll satisfy your needs? Look no further than the Blazer, Colorado, and Camaro, all winners in the 2021 Vehicle Satisfaction Awards. You’ll find these champs and so many other great options right here at College Chevrolet Buick in Albion, Michigan.
Chevrolet auctioned off the final seventh-generation Corvette — a handsome black Z06 — earlier this year at the Barrett-Jackson Northeast Auction at the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut. The gavel banged at a record-breaking final total of $2.7 million, which is all the more impressive considering that all the proceeds will given to the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation builds smart homes for injured service members and pays their mortgages, helping ensure a better life after sacrificing so much for their countries. The foundation also pays off the mortgages of families of first responders killed in the service of others. To date, Tunnel to Towers has 85 homes built or in the process of construction.
“This is going to vibrate across America,” said Frank Siller, chairman and CEO of the Stephen Siller Foundation. “This donation will build at least five homes for our catastrophically-injured veterans to give them their independence and a better quality of life.”
Over the past five years, General Motors and Chevrolet have helped raise more than $10 million for the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation. In 2018, $2.2 million was raised, including $925,000 earned in the auction of the first 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 off the production line.
College Chevrolet Buick is proud to support our community at large and proud to represent a brand that does so much for our nation’s heroes.
New 2020 Chevrolet Camaro updates have been revealed, and with improved styling and a new LT1 V8 model, it promises to be one of the most exciting performance cars ever put to the road. Chevy turned to the fans and their response to the Camaro Shock show vehicle that bowed at SEMA 2018 when considering how to make the new Camaro a showstopper.
“Customers spoke, and we listened,” said Steve Majoros, director of Chevrolet passenger car and crossover marketing. “The overwhelmingly positive reaction to the Shock’s stylized design helped prompt its transition from concept to production.”
The 2020 Camaro begins with a completely fresh face. The classic bowtie emblem makes a movie to the upper grille to make room for a body-color bar between the upper and lower grille. An all-new Rally Green color offers a bold exterior option. Dark-tinted taillamps are now available on the LS and LT, while 20-inch forged aluminum wheels are available on LT, LT1 and SS trims.
It’s not just looks, though. The 2020 Chevrolet Camaro will also feature improved performance thanks to an all-new 10-speed automatic transmission. This advanced transmission is paired with the powerful 3.6-liter V6 engine. Even more power (455 horsepower) is offered on the V8 engine.
While alloy pedals were previously only available on the ZL1 model, they will now be offered across all Camaro trims. The 3LT trim will now come standard with a 2.0-liter Turbo engine as well as a Convenience and Lighting package, features which were previously only optional. RECARO® performance seats are also offered on the LT model as well as the 1LE model.

The experts at J.D. Power are dedicated to cutting through the fat and determining the tops in the automotive industry year after year. The measure of an auto brand’s abilities to deliver for its customers can be easily determined based on the number of honors it earns from J.D. Power in a given year. By this standard, no other brand was better in 2017 than Chevrolet, which took home a total of nine awards in J.D. Power’s 2017 Vehicle Dependability (VDS); Initial Quality (IQS); and Automotive Performance, Execution, and Layout (APEAL) Studies.
“Chevrolet is winning with consumers because our designers, engineers, and dealers are focused on delivering great products and a great ownership experience,” said Alan Batey, president of GM North America and brand chief of Global Chevrolet. “This recognition from J.D. Power shows Chevrolet’s strength and underscores the momentum we have across the board.”
Last year, six different Chevrolet vehicles earned J.D. Power awards, which measure “the automotive brands that are continually exceeding customer expectations and leading the way in terms of dependability, quality and overall customer satisfaction.” The Chevrolet Sonic and Silverado HD topped their respective segments in the VDS and IQS, and the Chevrolet Tahoe was tops in the VDS and APEAL Study.
The Chevrolet Camaro also earned top honors in the VDS, the Silverado 1500 topped the full-size pickup segment in the IQS, and the all-new Chevrolet Bolt EV earned the award for its segment in the APEAL Study. Chevrolet also scored big-time in the 2018 J.D. Power Customer Service Index (CSI) Study and 2017 Sales Satisfaction Index Study, which measure customer satisfaction with the brand’s services and experiences.
We’re proud to represent J.D. Power’s most awarded brand, and we’re excited to show you first-hand why Chevrolet earned that very prestigious title. Stop in for a test drive at College Chevrolet Buick and feel the difference that award-winning quality makes.

In a recently-compiled list, the most American-made car was determined to be the Buick Enclave. The measure was based on the percentage of parts from each vehicle that were sourced in the United States.
Though it should be said that no American vehicles contain 100% American parts, the Buick Enclave was found to contain 80% American parts (based on the 2015 model). This is made all the more impressive by the fact that US manufacturing jobs have declined dramatically in recent years.
Of course, simply because a vehicle happens to contain the highest percentage of American parts doesn’t mean it is a popular model. However, in the case of the renowned Buick Enclave, this is actually true.
Even a cursory look at the new 2017 Buick Enclave will have anyone drawing the conclusion that the latest model will increase this crossover’s reputation with the public. The 2017 Buick Enclave features available Wi-Fi hotspot, industry-first front-center airbag, and an optional Bose 10-speaker sound system.
With its advanced technology and design, the 2016 Chevrolet Volt is guaranteed to pick up some automotive awards. However, it recently received an award for a much more important reason.
According to a Chevrolet press release, the 2016 Chevrolet Volt was named Green Car of the Year.
The title is awarded by the Green Car Journal to a vehicle that makes strives to help improve the environment in some way.
The 2016 Chevrolet Volt certainly accomplishes that. The electric vehicle has impressive fuel efficiency, and has a range of up to 420 miles. Combine those and you get a car drivers don’t have to refill until nearly 1,000 miles are traveled.
“Chevrolet’s all-new Volt is a milestone, building on an already-technologically advanced ‘green’ car and delivering what buyers have longed for, including an impressive 53-mile driving range on a single charge,” said Ron Cogan, editor and publisher of Green Car Journal and CarsOfChange.com.
Drivers shouldn’t be shocked that the impressive 2016 Chevrolet Volt is greenest car around!

Here at College Chevrolet Buick, we’ve always known just how capable and elegant our Buick vehicles were. Now, thanks to a recent Consumer Reports article—and a renewed marketing campaign—the rest of the world is finally starting to catch up. In fact, CR even recommends that you forget about those more established luxury brands like BMW and Mercedes-Benz in favor of a Buick. Basically, a Buick brings you all the style and performance of those other brands without the fancy price tag.
Specifically, CR recommends the Buick Regal over basically any other luxury sedan: “Regal beat the Volvo S60 in a head-to-head road test. Ultimately, the Regal wound up finishing just one point shy of the class-leading BMW 328i and tied the Mercedes-Benz C250 for second place in the organization’s overall ratings of upscale sport sedans—while costing thousands less.”
The Buick Regal Premium runs on a 2.0L, four-cylinder turbocharged engine, sports front-wheel-drive technology, looks sexy as hell, seats five people, and even manages to get 30 mpg on top of that. If Buick keeps making vehicles this good, it will continue to climb up the luxury car ranks for many years to come. But for today, just come see us at College Chevy Buick to check out the lineup for yourself.
Are you looking for something that is both fuel-efficient and family-friendly? Look no further than the 2014 Chevrolet Malibu. According to AutoGuide, it is one of the top ten most fuel-efficient non-hybrid family sedans.
It all stems from its engine. The new Malibu is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and features a six-speed automatic transmission. It is able to get 25 mpg in the city* and 36 mpg on the highway* which edges out its Ford rival, the Fusion. The Malibu offers efficiency, yes, but it is also able to produce the power you need to get around town. The base 2.5-liter makes 196-horsepower and 191 lb-ft of torque. Drivers can also opt up to the 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder for a little added power. It makes 295-horsepower and 295 lb-ft. of torque.
For the new model year, the Malibu also features Stop/Start technology which shuts the engine off when the car comes to a complete stop. This definitely increases your fuel economy giving you more mpgs and more money in your pocket.
