The Chevrolet Silverado ZR2 and Colorado ZR2 have once again proven that they’re built for adventure. These rugged trucks both won their respective Best In The Desert class championships. This marks the second time in a row that the Silverado has won the title, and the Colorado nabbed the win for the fourth time consecutively.
“It has been another expectation-shattering season, with the championships for the Silverado ZR2 and Colorado ZR2,” stated Roger McCormack, the director of Accessories and Performance Parts Marketing. “The successes for both vehicles, which are very close to the production models, wouldn’t have been possible without the closely synced relationship between Chad Hall Racing and the Chevrolet engineering team.”
The Chad Hall Racing crew designs and tests Chevy truck accessories. For instance, the Colorado ZR2 race truck has been instrumental in testing 15 different race components, available through Chevy dealers like College Chevrolet Buick. These components include jounce shocks, Multimatic long-travel DSSV dampers, steel driveshafts, and ball-spline half-shafts.
If the Colorado and Silverado can conquer the Cal City Desert Challenge course, just imagine how it could dominate the Bundy Hill OHV trail, just southeast of town. Tap into your truck’s potential with genuine Chevrolet accessories, available at College Chevrolet Buick in Albion, Michigan.
