    This month, we’d like for you to meet Arron Short one of our Sales Consultants! Arron is from East Lansing, but currently resides in Battle Creek. Arron has been working in the automotive industry for over 12 years and has a degree in Industrial Engineering from Michigan State (GO SPARTANS!). Being an engineer, he tends to notice the quality and technology and pays attention to how things are put together. He says that attention to detail is his key to success!

    When it comes to vehicles, his dream car would be a Lotus Exige. He has always loved Lotus cars because they are a super car that is hand-made in Ann Arbor. He currently drives an Infiniti G35x, but his favorite car of all-time was his modified ’94 Honda Accord. Of the new vehicles we have on our lot, his favorites include the Buick Regal and the Chevrolet Malibu 2.0T Premier. He says that the car that best-matches his personality is a Land Rover Evoque. The worst car he’s ever driven is a KIA.

    When not at work, you’ll find Arron spending time with his 7-year-old daugther, cooking, traveling, watching sports, and doing art projects. His favorite sports teams include the Detroit Lions, Detroit Pistons, Detroit Red Wings, and of course the MSU Spartans. His favorite TV show is “Fresh Prince of Bel Air,” but he enjoys all classic shows that make him laugh.

    Arron’s favorite part of the job is being able to accompany and assist guests that are in need. He enjoys offering advice and loves to watch people leave happy with a smile.   • What’s Brian Butts’ Story?

    What's Your StoryThis December, we would like to introduce a newer member of our team, Brian Butts! Brian works as a sales consultant at College Chevy and currently resides in Jonesville, MI. He is very knowledgeable in the sales word, having 20 years of experience before coming to our dealership.

    When Brian has the free time, he enjoys to spend his time outdoors either off-roading or camping. He also enjoys watching his favorite TV show, Gold Rush, and spending time with his children.     While working in the automotive industry, Brian has formed his own opinions about the cars he’s experienced in his life. His favorite car that he’s ever owned is his Jeep XJ. This car has sentimental value to him because it is the vehicle that he met his wife in. Although Brian currently drives a Suburban, he says that his favorite Chevy vehicle is the Corvette. The worst car he’s ever driven was his daughter’s F-150 because it’s always breaking down on him!

  • Jimmy Faust, What’s Your Story?

    What's Your StoryThis month, we’d like to introduce Jimmy Faust! Jimmy is a sales consultant here at the dealership and currently resides in Jackson. Although he has only been with us for a short time, he has worked with auto auctions as a buyer in the past.

    When not at work, you’ll find Jimmy hunting, fishing, and snowboarding. His favorite TV shows include Game of Thrones and The Big Bang Theory. He’s originally from New Orleans, so you’ll catch him cheering for the Saints during football season.

    Next, let’s talk cars! His current ride is a 2001 GMC Sierra, but his favorite vehicle he’s ever owned is a 1987 Buick Regal. It was his very first car and never let him down. His dream car is a 1967 Mustang GT 500 (Eleanor). His favorite Chevrolet vehicle is a 2017 Chevy Corvette Z06 (we can’t disagree on that!) If he had to choose a car that best fit his personality, he would choose a 2018 Chevy 2500 Duramax. The worst car he has ever driven was a 1994 Ford F-150 because the bed fell off as he was test driving it)

    Kevin Weighman - Service Manager

    Kevin Weighman is our Service Manager here at College Chevrolet Buick. The service department at our dealership is a large part of our business and we are very lucky to have Kevin running the show with our service customers. He is very knowledgable in the automotive industry with 18 years of experience and 9 years of experience at our dealership.

    Kevin is originally from Jackson, MI but now resides in Albion where he enjoys watching and going to sports games, especially his Michigan State Spartans. If Kevin isn’t at or watching a game, you’ll find him hanging out with his children and girlfriend. His favorite TV show at the moment is “House of Cards”, but nothing will compare to his all time favorite, “Deadliest Catch”. What's Your Story

    When looking more at the vehicle aspect of his life, Kevin is definitely a truck guy. He currently drives a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado but his favorite car that he’s ever owned was his 2012 2500 HD Duramax. The majority of Kevin’s favorite cars are ones that we have right on our lot, just like his dream car, the Silverado 3500 HD Duramax.

    Whether it’s time for a service visit or you need some work done on your car, come say “Hi!” to our very own Kevin Weighman. Nothing is too difficult for our team and Kevin says that watching the technicians work together to solve difficult problems is what makes working at College Chevrolet Buick so great!

    This month’s spotlight is on our very own General Manager, Chuck Hiatt! Chuck has been an integral part of College Chevrolet Buick for 12 years now. He is originally from Logansport, IN but now resides in Albion, where he cheers on the Michigan Wolverines.

    Chuck has been in the car industry for 28 years and has formed his own opinion of different models over his years of experience. Chuck currently drives a 2017 Suburban & a Buick Enclave but his favorite car that he’s ever owned was his Corvette. If he had to pick a favorite car on our lot, he would pick his very own Suburban, or a Tahoe. The Suburban is even Chuck’s dream car because of the luxury and spare space that the vehicle entails.

    What's Your StoryAside from cars, Chuck has many other interests and hobbies that he enjoys doing in his free time. He loves hanging out with his grandkids, golfing, seeing Alabama lose, and watching the Big Bang Theory. His favorite show of all time is Hill Street Blues.

    Pam McMillan – Controller At College Chevrolet Buick

    Pam McMillan is the Controller here at College Chevrolet Buick. First, you may be wondering just what a Controller does. Pam is in charge of directing the overall financial planning, budgeting, and accounting here at the dealership. Needless to say, Pam is a very important member of our team!

    Pam is from Detroit and went to Cleary University, but currently calls Marshall her home. She’s very knowledgeable when it comes to the automotive industry. She’s been at College Chevrolet Buick for 9 years and has been in the industry for 48! Pam isn’t big into sports, but when not at work you’ll find her doing puzzles and traveling. Her favorite television show currently is “Last Man Standing”, but she loves catching reruns of “The Carol Burnett Show”.

    When it comes to vehicles, Pam is partial to the ones we have on our lot! Her favorite car of all-time was her 1963 Chevrolet Impala SS and her favorite on our lot currently is the Buick Enclave. She currently drives a Chevy Equinox. Pam says that the best part of her job is the diversity she gets to experience every single day.
