Fun for the Fourth

This Thursday marks the 237th time the United States has celebrated its independence from Great Britain on the Fourth of July. Over that period of time the USA has grown from thirteen colonies to 50 states and a federal district.

The Fourth of July is another reminder of how far America has come as a country, and how much further we can go. It’s a time to reflect on the past, enjoy the present, and look forward to the future. A time to visit family, hang out with friends, and enjoy barbecue and a cold drink.

So how do you celebrate? Do you take your family to Lake Michigan and enjoy the fireworks, beach, and sunshine? Or sit back and relax on your day off? Whatever your pleasure we hope you enjoy the day the United States of America established its freedom. The day Americans became Americans.

In the true spirit of the holiday, we offer this video that so beautifully portrays the heart of America.
