    Chevrolet Redline Edition Series

The Saturn Redline Editions were favorites of enthusiasts across the country but, alas, they’ve been gone for years now. While the Saturn brand may be off the market, Chevrolet is looking to revive the Redline Edition Series. The American brand pulled the cover off of several Redline-equipped vehicles at the Chicago Auto Show.

The Chevrolet Redline Edition Series will spread to nine vehicles and offer significant changes in appearance from standard models. All nine automobiles are scheduled to hit the market by the end of 2017, giving enthusiasts another package to look forward to.

The Redline package will feature black wheels with red hash marks, black nameplates with red outline, black grilles, and black bowtie logos. Some vehicles will also receive additional unique styling effects.

Both the Chevrolet Colorado and Silverado made the cut and will feature red tow hooks when equipped with the Redline package. The Camaro will feature red hash marks above the wheels, a nod to the brand’s history on the track.

Other vehicles set to see the Redline effect include the Malibu, Equinox, Traverse, Trax, and Cruze sedan and hatchback. The Silverado Redline is available for order from dealerships now.

  • All-New Chevrolet Traverse Revealed in Detroit

    all-new Chevrolet Traverse
The 2018 Chevrolet Traverse is already turning heads.

As 2017 models start to launch in the automobile market, automakers are turning their attention to the upcoming 2018 model year. One such brand is Chevrolet, which kicked up anticipation in Detroit at the recent North American International Auto Show. Following the reveal of the next-generation 2017 Acadia last year, Chevy had the all-new Chevrolet Traverse lined up to turn heads once again in anticipation of the nameplate entering a new generation for 2018.

The Traverse was first introduced to the full-size SUV segment in 2009, but hasn’t gotten a major upgrade since then. While its appearance follows the new design philosophy of the aforementioned Acadia, the Chevrolet Traverse aims to be more truck-like for its new generation – more spacious, versatile, reliable, and upscale. While there’s no official EPA rating as of yet, Chevy estimates the Traverse’s new 3.6-liter V6 will have a 10% boost in fuel economy over the outgoing model.

The all-new Chevrolet Traverse has been redesigned for a slightly more affluent demographic, and Chevy is capitalizing on this by increasing the tech features found inside the new 2018 version. Despite this, the company is confident this new angle on the Traverse will boost sales among US families looking for a more roomy and premium option.

If you have questions, would like more information, or are ready to take a new Traverse for a test drive, visit us today at College Chevrolet Buick!
