The Seattle Seahawks came to Super Bowl XLVIII ready to play and it showed with their 43 – 8 victory over the Denver Broncos. A media panel and fan vote on www.superbowl.com determined Malcom Smith, a linebacker for the Seattle Seahawks, the most valuable player of Sunday’s game.
With this award, Smith was presented with a new Chevy Silverado, but not just any Silverado, a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado High Country, the official MVP vehicle of Super Bowl XLVIII. Smith was also presented with the Pete Rozelle Trophy (named after Alvin Ray “Pete” Rozelle who is accredited with making the NFL into one of the most successful sports leagues in the world). Smith was recognized for his excellent efforts in not only the Super Bowl game, but in past games this season.
